SLC-10 Street Light Controller

SLC-10 Street Light Controller

Introduction

EpiSensor's SLC-10 Street Light Controller can wirelessly monitor and control street lights via the web using EpiSensor's SiCA Platform. The device includes an advanced on-board electricity monitor, accurate photo-sensor, 13A switch and a Zigbee wireless communications module.

The integral mains power supply will function over a wide voltage range which allows it to operate in all countries. The enclosure is fully weather proof and UV resistant and is designed to withstand harsh environmental conditions.

Applications

The SLC-10 can be used to remotely monitor and control both public and private street lighting systems to reduce electricity consumption and associated CO2 emissions. Using EpiSensor's SiCA Platform, many SLC-10's communicate wirelessly with a SiCA Gateway which connects them to a control center via the internet.

From here, operators can schedule lights to switch off during quiet periods, monitor lamps which have failed and generate detailed electricity consumption reports.
