Introduction

The ACT-10 switch allows users to remotely switch any electrical load of up to 13A using EpiSensor's SiCA Platform. Using reliable and secure Zigbee wireless communications, multiple ACT-10 Switches can be connected to a SiCA Gateway and controlled via the web using EpiSensor's SiCA Studio software.

Schedules can also be defined which can switch a load based on a time, date or event. The ACT-10 has a waterproof enclosure allowing it to operate in harsh industrial environments and will function over a wide range of input voltages.

Applications

The ACT-10 switch can be used to reduce electricity consumption by automating the process of powering down electrical equipment in offices, factories, warehouses or any other commercial buildings. It allows facility managers to implement advanced and adaptive energy efficiency policies in buildings.
