Introduction

SiCA Studio Express (formerly Net-Manager Lite) is an entry level wireless sensor network management tool for EpiSensor's SiCA Platform. When connected to one of EpiSensor's USB Gateways, users can configure wireless nodes, set up basic schedules, analyse data and generate reports.

It can be installed on any PC and includes a database which can store up to 4GB of sensor data. It features an easy to use tree-view for visualising a wireless sensor network and can export data to Excel for detailed analysis.

Applications

SiCA Studio Express is most suited to single building networks which monitor parameters such as electricity, water, temperature & gas to increase building energy efficiency and reduce utility costs.

Facility managers can deploy sensors around a building to implement energy efficiency policies and inform building occupants of resource usage.

It can also be used to monitor environmental parameters and build control systems to switch electrical loads based on occupancy.
