Introduction
The NGO-10 USB Gateway connects to a standard USB port on a PC and enables communication between SiCA Studio software and a SiCA Platform compatible wireless sensor network. It has a range of up to 300m outdoors or 50m indoors and uses secure Zigbee communications technology.
The device has three status indicator LED's and measures just 60mm x 30mm x 10mm. A USB extension cables can be used to position the NGO-10 for optimum wireless range.
Applications
The NGO-10 is most suitable for small to medium scale indoor wireless sensor networks where wireless nodes are within range of a PC and data is being accessed locally by facility or building managers.
It can be used in applications such as building electricity monitoring, temperature tracking and water metering to provide data to SiCA Studio software for further analysis.
