Introduction

The NGH-10 USB Gateway connects to a standard USB port on a PC and enables communication between SiCA Studio software and a SiCA Platform compatible wireless sensor networks. It has a range of up to 800m outdoors and uses secure Zigbee communications technology.

The device has a high powered directional antenna which can communicate with nodes which are located at the extremities of large buildings or spread over wide areas. It has a fully waterproof enclosure (IP67) and can be wall or pole mounted.

Applications

The NGH-10 is most suitable for small to medium scale indoor wireless sensor networks where there is access to a PC but the wireless nodes are spread over a wide area. Data can be accessed locally by facility or building managers.

It can be used in applications such as building electricity monitoring, temperature tracking and water metering to provide data to SiCA Studio software for further analysis.
