Executive Chairman Appointment at EpiSensor Limerick & Dublin, Ireland - Tuesday, 9th September, 2008
Gary Carroll has been appointed executive chairman of Limerick based technology company, EpiSensor. EpiSensor develops components that wirelessly link devices at low power requirements. The concept is built around a technology called ZigBee which has been described as an “Internet of things”. EpiSensor is targeting the emerging green market and has developed a wide range of energy monitoring and control devices from electricity power supply to street lamps and water quality. Gary Carroll has founded and been involved in the running of high technology, internationally trading companies for the past 20 years including Blackbird Data Systems, the National Microelectronics Applications Centre and IC Mask Design.
